Mizzou Info Guidelines
Mizzou Info is a weekly internal advertising newsletter to support university units in promoting events; opportunities related to research, academics and volunteering; and other topics relevant to the Mizzou community.
Mizzou Info is emailed to all faculty, staff and students at Mizzou every Wednesday (excluding the weeks of Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s Day and Spring Break; other dates may be added annually). Each week's newsletter is also available on the Mizzou Info website.
Payment is available via a university MoCode or credit card.
All Mizzou Info submissions are reviewed and edited by Mizzou Marketing and Communications to ensure they comply with Mizzou brand and style guidelines and the mass email and accessibility policies.

Submissions:
- Mizzou Info is a service provided for university units. Each submission must have an approved sponsor, which is limited to:
- Mizzou colleges, schools, departments and business units; and
- UM System departments
- All content must be compliant with Mizzou brand and style guidelines and the digital accessibility policy.
- Additional guidelines specific to Mizzou Info include:
- Submissions for research studies that are recruiting human subjects:
- Must include an IRB number.
- Should provide a clear rationale for the study design and subject recruitment process.
- Submissions for research studies that are recruiting animal subjects, e.g., studies involving pet populations:
- Must include an animal care and use protocol number.
- Should provide a clear rationale for the study design and subject recruitment process.
- All event submissions should be entered on and linked to the Mizzou Events calendar when possible.
- All contact information listed in a submission must use University of Missouri email addresses and websites.
- Images must be consistent with Mizzou brand standards and digital accessibility guidelines.
- Logos for businesses or entities not associated with the University of Missouri are not allowed.
- Submissions for research studies that are recruiting human subjects:
Individuals, recognized student organizations and non-university organizations cannot submit content to Mizzou Info. Sponsored student organizations, such as the Missouri Students Association (MSA) and Graduate Professional Council (GPC), should work through their administrative partners. MSA and similar groups should contact Student Engagement & Leadership in Student Affairs, while GPC should work with the Graduate School, for assistance with departmentally sponsored submissions.
